Director of Operations

Joined 2023 with 20+ years in business operations, firm management, accounting, and title abstract work. Oversees HR, financial oversight, budgeting, training, and strategic planning — the operational engine of the firm. Chamber of Commerce Ambassador, Toney native, devoted mother of three.

Wendy Martin

Senior Litigation Paralegal & Case Manager

Primary paralegal to managing partner Christopher Weston and partner Allison Moody, with 33+ years across personal injury, domestic relations, civil litigation, workers’ comp, mold litigation, and business law. Born in Huntsville, raised in Grant — her grandkids call her “Sassy.”

Kandy Huelsman

Senior Legal Assistant to William Johnston, Jr.

With the firm since 1999 — real estate closings, paralegal work, and bookkeeping, and dedicated legal assistant to founding partner William Johnston, Jr. ever since. Loves traveling, golfing, boating, and spoiling the Johnston family children as her own.

Sherika Norwood

Legal Assistant

B.S. in Biology from Alabama A&M, Masters in Public Health from Walden. Experience advocating for individuals with mental illness brings real compassion to the desk. Devoted mother to Mikayla and a Sigma Gamma Rho member committed to community service.

Katie Levy

Junior Paralegal

Huntsville native, with JMW since 2021. Works criminal, social security, probate, and civil matters — and takes pride in the client relationships that keep cases moving. Captain of her kickball team.

Delaney Ciccolella

Legal Assistant

Dual degrees in Law/Justice and Psychology from Auburn, with law school in her future. Drawn to the intersection of law and human behavior. Off the clock: hiking Huntsville’s trails and arts and crafts.

Deven Hargrove

Receptionist

The first voice you’ll hear. UAH graduate in Political Science with a Psychology minor, headed to law school eventually — with a passion for family law. Reads by the pool, hikes with friends, and answers to a cat named Noodle.
